Two new Williams Police Officers, Sandeep “Sonny” Grewal, and Victoria “Vikki” Bonilla were sworn in on Monday, March 17th, 2014 at a special ceremony held at Williams City Hall.

Friends and family, colleagues, city staff, and members of the community attended and witnessed the memorable event.

“Grewal and Bonilla were extremely well qualified,” said Williams Police Chief, Jim Saso.

The addition of the new officers brings the Williams Police Department to full staff.

“It’s been a year and a half since our department was fully staffed,” said Saso, “we have been actively recruiting for the right individuals.”

Strong efforts were made to recruit the new officers that would fit the Williams community and met the needs of the department.
