Troy comes from a rodeo family, in Payson, Utah, where he still lives. He rode his first horse at age 4 and motorcycle at age 10. He is an accomplished performer who has been voted six times PRCA Comedy Act of the Year, three times NFR Barrelman, and two times Coors Man in the Can. At times, his life in the Coors can gets hazardous. At least twice the bulls took aim at him at our 2009 rodeo and sent his can spinning. The crowd enjoys seeing the bull attack the can, but it can’t be too pleasant for Troy. However, he always emerges from the can with a smile on his face and a wisecrack on his lips. Troy is also great with kids. He works closely with our local folks to help our kids enjoy the “Best-Dressed” and “Mutton Bustin’” competitions; and our kids love him for it.
