On Saturday March 1, 2014 the Colusa High School Future Business Leaders of America chapter participated in the Northern Section Leadership Conference. The conference was held at Consumnes Oaks High School in Elk Grove.

The FBLA members competed in several events hoping to qualify to compete at the State Leadership Conference on April.

Congratulations to all the FBLA members who did an outstanding job at the conference. Good luck to those competing at the State Leadership Conference!!!

The Competitors who placed are as follows:

1st place in Future Business Leader and Job Interview: Taylor Davies.

1st Place in Creed Contest: Yasmine Avila.

3rd place in Public Speaking: Erin Walsh.

7th place in Public Speaking II: Adrianna Abele.

3rd Place team in Sports & Entertainment Management: Haley Lyss and Riley de Wit.

5th place team in Entrepreneurship: Hayden Bailey, Ryan Abele, Eric Kraft.

5th place team in Hospitality Management: Cynthia Padilla, Katie Dudman, and Kristin Bill.

6th place team in Global Business: Zach Vaillancourt, Riley de Wit, and Haley Lyss.

6t in Agribusiness: Nick Moresco.

Economics: 6th Place – Nick Moresco, 8th Place – Ryan Abele, and 9th Place – Eric Kraft.

Business Procedures: 5th Place – Spencer Stocks, 10th Place – Brook Gallagher.

6th place in Introduction to Business Communications: Alissa Selover.

8th place team in Management Decision Making: Cynthia Padilla, Kristin Bill

9th Place in Computer Problem Solving: Zachary Valliancourt.

9th place in FBLA Principles and Procedures: Yasmine Avila.

Word Processing I: 7th Place – Adrianna Abele, 8th Place – Alissa Selover, and 9th Place – Grace Boeger.

Who’s Who Nominees included: Taylor Davies and Jaime Mendez.

Senior Recognition included: Taylor Davies, Eric Kraft, Jaime Mendez, Riley de Wit, Cynthia Padilla, Haley Lyss, Kristin Bill, Caitlyn Dudman, Taylor Bell, Nick Moresco, Hayden Bailey, and Ryan Abele.
