Single Vehicle Collision Closes Highway 20

On, Monday April 7, 2014 at approximately 1:55 p.m. the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to a single vehicle collision on Highway 20, just east of Lone Star Road, outside of Colusa.

A 2002 Chevrolet Pickup was traveling westbound on Highway 20 when the driver, Jeremiah O’Sullivan, 66, of Williams, lost control of the vehicle colliding into the north side of the bridge railing.

The collision caused his trailer to overturn, spilling its contents onto the roadway, blocking both lanes.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

Both the east and westbound lanes of Highway 20 were closed for approximately one hour for cleanup as traffic was diverted to use alternate routes. ÔÄľ
