Crystal Deal Will be Bucking at the Stonyford Rodeo

Crystal Deal is the real deal. He is currently the third ranked bull in the PRCA; he will be challenging cowboys at the Stonyford Rodeo, on Sunday, May 4, 2014. This star bull athlete has only allowed one qualified (8 second) ride in his all of his twenty-four outings.

Crystal Deal (branded 849, NFR tagged 353) has appeared in twenty Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) rodeos, two Professional Bull Riding (PBR) events, and two Xtreme Bull Riding (PRCAX) events. His first outing was in the Red Bluff, CA, rodeo, in April 2012. Here the rider, Seth Glause, stayed aboard for 7.81 seconds—close, but no cigar. Since then, only two other cowboys have managed to stay up for more than 4 seconds–until Tyler Smith. Tyler made a qualified, 93 point, ride at the Reno PRCAX event in June 2013.

Crystal Deal was raised by Don Kish, on his ranch in Red Bluff, CA. Don has been raising bulls for more than twenty-five years and supplies bulls for the Growney Brothers Rodeo Company. Rodeo weekend begins on Saturday, May 3, with a parade through town at 10 a.m.; the rodeo begins at 1 p.m. Sunday’s rodeo begins at noon (Crystal Deal will appear this day). Tickets are available online atwww.stonycreekhorsemen.org and at the following stores: Stonyford General Store, Stonyford; Carl’s Feed, Willows; Boot Barn, Anderson, Chico and Yuba City; Bucke’s Feed & Grain, Orland; Marie’s Lakeshore Feed, Clearlake; Rainbow Ag, Lakeport; and Mendocino Co.
