The City of Williams hires new director of Parks and Recreation, filling a 5-month vacancy

Williams has hired a new leader for the City’s Park and Recreation Department.

Acting City Manager, Jim Saso, said he will officially announce the identity of the new director at the regular City Council meeting on May 21, 2014 at 6:00 p.m..

The Parks and Recreation director will lead the department, and develop a variety of recreation programs and community events.
In addition to the new Parks and Recreation director, the City of Williams is seeking to fill vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission.

This is an excellent opportunity to all Williams Residents to serve the community, and contribute to the programs the city offers.
Commission members are required to attend one meeting a month, and live within the Williams City limits.
