CITIZENSHIP CLASSES – In conjunction with Hermandad Mexicana Transnacional of Sacramento, SPENCOW will be presenting citizenship classes to help Williams residents who are seeking to obtain their United States citizenship status. Classes will be begin on Sunday, June 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Williams Community Center. This service is offered at no charge.
HOUSING WORKSHOP – SPENCOW will be hosting a Housing Workshop to help Williams residents apply for programs to improve their homes or acquire a home for first time buyers. The City of Williams has recently received a half million dollar community development block grant. The Grant allows for Williams Citizens to make necessary improvements on their homes; additionally, it offers assistance for first time home buyers with low interest loans. Grants are available up to $7,000 and loans available to a value of $60,000 to residents of the City of Williams depending upon qualifications. SPENCOW Housing Workshop will assist residents in determining qualifications and assist in preparing applications for these programs. The Workshop will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Williams Community Center from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
