Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Williams

A motorcyclist from Citrus Heights was killed on Saturday, May 31st, 2014 when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle, police said.

At approximately 9:25 p.m., Brian Pearl, 39 was traveling eastbound on Highway 20, when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle driven by Gabrielle Wilson, 19 of Williams.

Wilson was making a left-hand turn at the intersection onto Virginia Way.

“I came onto the accident scene and found that Pearl was down, next to his motor cycle,” said Sgt. Steve Woldanski, of the Williams Police Department.

Wilson did not sustain any injuries; however a juvenile passenger suffered minor injuries and was transported to Colusa Regional Medical Center.

Pearl was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Wilson has been cooperating with the ongoing investigation,” said Woldanski, “Drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the collision.” 
