Chamber Hosts Ribbon Cutting for Williams Nursery

Recently, the Colusa County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Williams Nursery with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Located at 4001 Husted Road, proprietor Marcie Voorhees opened the business almost a year ago.

“It has been a lot of hard work and a lot of hours,” said Voorhees, “the community has been very supportive and were adapting to its needs.”

On Saturday, June 14, 2014, members of the Colusa County Chamber of Commerce celebrated one of Williams’ newest businesses, welcoming continued success.

“I wish Marcie and Kirk much success in their new business,” said Williams Mayor, Patricia Ash, “its a wonderful addition to the community of Williams to have a nursery and great contribution to Colusa County.”

Williams Nursery has provides a large selection of annuals and perennials, blooms, sun loving plants, shade plants, and a variety of trees and shrubs. Special orders are welcomed.

For more information about the products and services offered by Williams Nursery, stop by Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 4001 Husted Road in Williams.â–
