Actually, it’s Tiki Time at the 2014 Summer Showcase, our third event in our semi-annual Showcase Series.
So throw on your flip flops and most comfy of Hawaiian getups, to join us on July 12th at 6 pm, right here at the Williams Community Center, 860 C. St. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
This is an ALL AGES & FREE EVENT! Strawberry Shortcake will be sold and make sure to surf on by our Big Kahuna Raffle table. Tickets are $1 each and we have over 10 generously donated items. All proceeds will go toward our fundraising efforts for a stage of our own (as we borrow the stage from WJUSD).
Our lineup really is exciting. This “variety luau” has darn near everything a goofy gal like me could hope for! Many of our previous performers return to give us all they’ve got, once again. Like Jody Bawker, Kelly Lewis, Ken & Candace Edwards, Shane & Beverly Maxey and more.
We’ve also got some interesting additions such as Mike Phelan a vocalist/guitarist from Arbuckle, some pint sized Hula dancers, a local Barber Shop Quartet and the comedy stylings of hometown hero, John Ross!
You know, I think I even caught wind that Sonny & Cher will be swoopin’ in from Honolulu. Can ya’ imagine that?!
