NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED WEEKLY ON THURSDAY

A Good Season Farewell

The Arbuckle Farmers Market came to an end for the season, marking its sixth successful year.

“We had a very successful season again this year,” said market coordinator, Mary Fahey of the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee, “We had a great group of vendors that made the atmosphere fun and upbeat.”

With the standard fresh fruits and veggies, the market also featured homemade soaps, fresh flowers, beauty products, olive oil, crafts, cookies, and much more.

“The vendors worked hard to provide a wide variety of local products,” said Fahey.

The Market Street Grill was back this year serving up delicious dinners each week.

“We would like to thank everyone who joined us at the Arbuckle Farmers Market,” said Market Street Grill owner, Diane Schuman in a Facebook post, “We enjoyed serving you!”

“The community support was greatly appreciated and as always, the Market proved to be a popular social event,” Fahey added.

The Arbuckle Revitalization Committee would like to thank the hard-working vendors and the community who’ve helped make the market worthwhile every year.

Many of the Vendors, and the Market Street Grill will return on Sunday, October 5, for the Arbuckle Pumpkin Festival. That event is scheduled from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The Colusa Farmers Market will continue through the month of September. The Colusa Farmers Market is held every Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Park (10th & Market Street) in Downtown Colusa. ■
