Nearly ten years ago, the Colusa Regional Medical Center opened the Williams Urgent Care facility to help assist with the health care needs for the City of Williams and surrounding communities.
Today, the clinic has expanded from a shared facility with North Valley Family Physicians to its own suite.
“We outgrew our space,” said Director of Clinic Services, Catrina Vaca, “we never anticipated that we would grow so quickly.”
Located at 501 E. Street, Suite A, in Williams – the location once housed the popular coffee shop “JavaStop.”
Since the closing of the coffee shop, Colusa Regional Medical Center renovated the space into a medical suite.
“Everyone is so happy to be in the newly renovated space,” said Vaca,
North Valley Family Physician patients will continue to enter on the south side of the building as they have before, while the Urgent Care Medical Center patients enter on the North Side; Vaca added.
The Williams Urgent Care Medical Center continues to provide health care for all ages, including adult medicine, family planning, minor outpatient surgery, lab collection services, workers comp., physical examinations, women’s health, and pediatrics.
The facility is open Monday – Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and appointments can be scheduled by calling (530) 473-5641. Walk-ins are welcome.
