The Williams Elementary and Upper Elementary School hosted an inspiring and hope-filled assembly to celebrate Patriot Day.

On Thursday, September 11, both schools filled the Williams High School Gym as students watched a video on the history and significance of the American Flag, and listened to presentations given by Rev. Dennis Draves and Dan Garvin of the Boy Scouts of America.

Williams Upper Elementary Assistant Principal, Denise Conrado read a letter on what it means to be a good citizen; and School Secretary, Toni Rivera gave the history of Patriot Day.
The ceremony concluded with the ‚ÄėStar Spangled Banner‚Äô sung by a Williams High School Student. ‚Ė†
