Williams Man Arrested on Vehicle Burglary Charges – at it again , police say

A Williams man recently arrested for allegedly breaking into vehicles was at it again, police said.

Just after 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2014, a resident on Sierra Oaks Drive, was awaken by his vehicles car alarm sounding and witnessed 20-year-old, Daniel Ramirez trying to enter his vehicle; prompting the resident to contact the Williams Police Department.

Williams Man Arrested on Vehicle Burglary Charges

As officers were arriving on the scene, the resident attempted to make contact with Ramirez, in which he fled into a nearby garage.

Officers contacted the neighboring property owner and requested for a premises search and discovered Ramirez hiding in a metal storage shed in the backyard.

Ramirez was arrested for attempted vehicle burglary in the second degree.

Ramirez was connected to a rash of vehicle burglaries in the area and was arrested earlier in September the alleged charges of vehicle tampering, attempted petty theft.
