Williams Urgent Care Celebrates with Ribbon Cutting and New Name

“When we expanded the facility, we wanted to give it a name that best represents the services we provide here in Williams,” said Walt Beck, Colusa Regional Medical Center, CEO, “We want to be a part of this community, and that is why we have chosen ‘Williams Family Health Center.”

Nearly ten years ago, the Colusa Regional Medical Center opened the Williams Urgent Care facility to help assist with the health care needs for the City of Williams and surrounding communities.

A ribbon cutting ceremony held on Thursday; October 30th celebrated the completion of the Family Health Center.

“It took us a long time to get here,” said Beck, “Were glad that we finally can serve our community in the new facility.”

Director of Clinic Services, Catrina Vaca commented that the facility outgrew its space in an unprecedented amount of time.

“We never anticipated that we would grow so quickly,” said Vaca, “Everyone is happy to be in the newly renovated space.”

The Williams Family Health Center continues to provide health care for all ages, including adult medicine, family planning, minor outpatient surgery, lab collection services, workers’ comp., physical examinations, women’s health, and pediatrics.

The facility is open Monday – Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and appointments can be scheduled by calling (530) 473-5641. Walk-ins are welcome.

The clinic accepts most insurances and provides a sliding pay scale for those who do not have insurance.
