Colusa Regional Medical Center Receives Performance Excellence Awards

On Monday, October 27, 2014 the Collaborative Alliance for nursing Outcomes (CALNOC) announced its annual Performance Excellence Awards recognizing over 130 exceptional hospitals for outstanding performance. These hospitals are recognized in the areas of reducing hospital acquired pressure ulcers, injuries from falls and infections.

Colusa Regional Medical Center was the only hospital to receive three of the four awards in the following categories: Performance Excellence in the Reduction of Hospital Acquired Pressure Ulcers (HAPU Stage II+), Performance Excellence in the Reduction of Central Line-Associated Blood Stream Infections, and Performance Excellence in the Reduction of Cather-Associated Urinary Tract Infections.
