Eagle Scout project completed at Our Lady of Lourdes School

Daniel Sanchez with Boy Scout Troop 5 of Colusa, California completed his Eagle Scout project at Our Lady of Lourdes School in Colusa.

Completion of an in-depth, public service project is required to attain the highest rank in the Boy Scouts–an Eagle Scout.

Sanchez designed, built, and installed an arbor with a bench in the playground area of the Our Lady of Lourdes School.

“I used to attend the school and wanted to give something back,” said Sanchez.

For several weeks, Sanchez carefully designed and constructed the arbor while recruiting and leading his fellow scouts in helping with the install of the labor.

“I would like to thank those who helped assist in the construction of the project: Steve Stocks, Bobby Cullen, Jesse Garcia, Alex Frank, Sam Stocks, Tyler Gerrard, Spencer Stocks, Erik Wrysinski, Charlie Franklin, Jon Wrysinski Fausto Ruelas, Nick Azevedo, Jamie Lopez Sr., Francisco Cruiz, Scout Troop leader Amy Gerrard,” said Sanchez, “I would also like to thank my parents Daniel Sr. and Jackie Sanchez.”
