The Colusa County of Chamber of Commerce announced the final results of the elections held in December for choosing its new board of directors for the 2015-2016 year.
Over 200 ballots were sent to Chamber Members to select six of the seventeen nominated candidates. 62 ballots were received and counted under the supervision of Colusa County Superior Court Judge, Jeffrey A. Thompson.
61 ballots were tabulated successfully with one ballot having questionable authenticity; however, officials say that although the ballot was not counted it would not have impacted the overall outcome.
The six electorate seats were won by: incumbents Ed Hulbert and Ben Felt, and Diane Schuman of Market Street Grill, Nick Reading of Superior Tires, Don Litchfield of Rocco’s Bar & Grill and John Ashbaugh of Premier Mushrooms.
The newly elected will serve a two-year term.
The six elected board members will join Donna Phelan, Chris Fantl, Gary Teragawa, Stephanie Ponciano, Pat Landreth, and Lynda Reynolds.
