Alice May Davis, 91, passed away on Friday Jan. 24th, 2014 in Colusa, CA.
Alice, the oldest of 7, was born in Flint, MI on Sept. 17th, 1922.
She grew up in Flint, where she met her late husband Ray Marshall Davis Sr. Ray and Alice moved to Williams in 1948, where they owned a business and raised their family. Alice was an excellent seamstress; she sold Shaklee products for many years and was an avid bowler. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, and spending time in Ft. Bragg. Alice was a very active member in the Methodist Church in Williams. For the past few years, Alice resided at Mirsona Manor in Williams.
She is survived by 4 brothers and 1 sister. She will be greatly missed by her 6 children; Susan Griewahn, Robert Davis, Jan Criner, Patty Shamberger, Ray Davis Jr. and Beth Waltman. She has 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren.
A celebration of Alice’s life will be held at the Parkside United Methodist Church, 936 G St. in Williams CA, on Thursday, January 30th at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the Williams Cemetery.
