Donald S. Mumma (1923 – 2014)

Donald S. Mumma passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2014 at the age of 90. A lifetime resident and farmer of Colusa County, he was the son of Thomas and Victoria Mumma.

Don served in the Navy, was a former Dunnigan Volunteer Firefighter, and a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Arbuckle.

He was an outgoing friendly man, who enjoyed hunting and family vacations. Don will be forever remembered for his sense of humor, spirit of fun and outgoing curiosity.

A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, his family was the center of his life. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Louise; sons Jim and Ken Mumma; daughters Janet Castaneda and Sally Chandler; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial donations can be made in Don’s name to the charity of your choice.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at College City Cemetery.
