Alice Josephine Facque (1927-2014)

Facque,-Alice-1Alice Josephine Facque died on Friday Apr. 4th, 2014 at Sutter Roseville Hospital in CA, at the age of 86.

She was born to James Roland and Enid Ila Prine on April 29, 1927 along with her twin sister Helen Prine Bostrom.

She married her Maxwell high school sweetheart, Joseph David Facque, on Nov. 2nd 1947. They were married for 51 loving years. They had one daughter, Carol Ann Facque.

She loved to travel with her mother and daughter. She especially enjoyed cruising with her daughter after her husband Joe passed away. She was a lover of music and enjoyed going to the symphony in San Francisco with friends, and Andre Reiu concerts in Sacramento with her daughter. She lovingly took care of her mother and father-in-law for many years.

Alice is survived by her daughter Carol; her twin sister Helen; brother-in-laws Ivar Bostrom and John L. Facque; nephews Nick and John Facque and their families; nieces Susan Smith and Nancy Jones and their families. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe and her parents Enid and James Prine.

A Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday April 11, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Elm Street Maxwell, CA. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Maxwell Cemetery. The reception will be held following burial at the Sacred Heart’s Reception Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Alice’s name to the Veteran’s Tribute Wall P.O. Box 294, Colusa, CA 95932 or to the charity of your choice.
