Gloria Pogue (1924-2014)

Gloria Pogue, 89 of Colusa, passed away April 22, 2014 with her family by her side. Gloria was born on the 4th of July 1924 in Oroville, CA. She had been a Colusa resident since 1955 when she and her husband, Larry, purchased the Colusa Fruit Store. During the years, Gloria led a very active lifestyle. She enjoyed walking, water aerobics and loved to tell stories of her childhood. She knew no stranger. Her spiritual walk was very important to her and her smile would light up the room. Gloria will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Gloria is survived by son Darrell Pogue (Brenda); daughter Vickie Marchio (Dick); Grandchildren Michele Hoff, Jim Houtman (Tracy), Amy Bell (Mike), Megan Ferris (Josh), Lauren Pogue; Great Grandchildren Nicolas, Ashley & Jake Bell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry and two sons, Michael & Larry James.

Gloriaā€™s ā€œCelebration of Lifeā€ will be held at Colusa Assembly of God Church on Friday May 16th 2014 @ 11:00 AM.
