Tony was born to parents John and Edna (Stevenson) Bowden on September 30, 1943 in Colusa California.
He was preceded in death by his father, his brother Tommy Joe Bowden and his grandparents; John C (Cliff) and Norma Bowden and Charley and Eva Stevenson, and his stepfather Fenton McCullough.
He is survived by his wife Deena Bowden, his daughter Melissa (Sean) Bramer , his mother Edna McCullough, his grandchildren Gavin and Cynthia Bramer and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tony will be remembered by many as one of Pierce Joint Union High School’s outstanding athletes in the 1960’s. His “million dollar smile” will be remembered by many.
Tony served two tours of Viet Nam and later retired from the United States Air Force with the rank of Master Sergeant.
He was laid to rest with military honors on July 25, 2014 at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
