Homer Ivan Danley (1927-2014)

Danley, homer obit photoHomer Ivan Danley, 87 of Maxwell, passed away Sept. 16, 2014 at his home in Maxwell with his loving family by his side. Homer was born Aug. 26, 1927 in Lodoga, CA.

Homer was a Fireman for the Sacramento City Fire Department for 31 years. After retirement, Homer ran a full barber shop in Maxwell for 33 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Maxwell Beautification Board, Board member of the Maxwell Water District, a member of the board for the Maxwell Fire Department. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Len Donley of Maxwell. Daughters; Jeannine Ray of Eugene, OR, Jeannette Rodini and Jeannifer Morse of Sacramento, CA. Step-Son; Mark Entz of Willows, CA.

Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Maxwell Baptist Church followed by committal services at the Maxwell Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Homerā€™s name to the Maxwell Baptist Church 177 N. California St. Maxwell, CA 95955
