Holby, and Mike Peters will be held at the Colusa County Arts Council Gallery on Thursday, January 22, from 5 to 8 pm. The public is Welcome.
Since 1996, photographer Steven Emmons has been capturing the natural beauty of the visiting waterfowl. Employed as the Wildlife Refuge Manager for the Sacramento and Delevan National
Wildlife Refuge near Willows, California, Emmons continues to observe and capture the various, and unique wildlife he encounters.
Photographer Hazel Holby is a volunteer at the Sacramento Wildlife Refuge where she has made it her mission to photograph every duck, goose and swan in the valley. Holby started in photography when her father introduced her to a 35mm.
Colusa Wildlife Refuge manager, Mike Peters has had dozens of his photos published in Ducks Unlimited Magazine. Peters said that waterfowl has always been a passion both in carving and photographs. Peters photographs capture the most appealing depiction of each species.
The Colusa County Arts Council Gallery is located at 430 Market Street and is open Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 2 PM and on Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM.
