Informational seminars are being held in each Division throughout the state on February 28, 2015, to show accomplishments by women in the CHP. Although the seminars are designed to showcase accomplishments by women, all persons interested in a career in law enforcement are strongly encouraged to attend. Minimum qualifications for candidates include: must be 20-35 years old, a U.S. citizen, have no felony convictions, and be a high school graduate. Each applicant will be required to complete the entire testing process including a physical ability test, written test, background investigation,medical/vision evaluation, and psychological evaluation.
