What’s Local? What a Treat at Sweet Bean’s Bakery

04152015 - Sweet Bean Bakery

Looking for a place to get a sweet treat in Colusa?

Look no further than Sweet Bean’s Bakery, located at 304 5th Street.

Award-winning Baker, Robin Diaz, owner of Sweet Bean’s Bakery, is a culinary master when it comes to freshly baked pastries, cakes and much more.

“I was privately doing cakes for family and friends, and I thought it was time to get myself a place and open my bakery,” said Diaz.

With five years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in culinary management, Diaz hopes to give Colusan’s a serious sweet tooth.

Baking up fresh, homemade scones, muffins, cookies, and cinnamon rolls, Diaz also serves specialty coffees and smoothies.

“Our customer favorites are our bacon and cheddar scone, and the white chocolate and cranberry scone,” said Diaz.

In addition to the morning-time sweets, Diaz offers a great selection of specials for lunch, served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

“We have several sandwiches, salads and a soup of the week,” said Diaz.

Diaz commented that a customer favorite lunch is the traditional club with her slow cooked bacon.

“I start the bacon early in the morning so that it cooks in all of the flavor,” said Diaz.

Looking for someone to cater that morning office meeting? Sweet Bean’s Bakery offers a great selection of pastry trays, a dessert bar, and of course coffee!

How about a fresh baked cake for any occasion? Diaz can create your custom order.

“I do wedding cakes to birthday cakes,” said Diaz, “Several of our photos are available on our website or our Facebook page.”

The next time you’re in Colusa, stop in for a treat at Sweet Bean’s Bakery. Open Tuesday through Friday, 6AM to 3PM, Saturday 7AM to 1PM and the business is closed on Sunday and Mondays.

Don’t forget, you can call in your order for a quick pickup! (530) 458-2326.
