The organization will serve up a delicious nacho bar with a variety of toppings, a cup of chili, a large brownie, and a beverage for $10.
The Lunch will be served on the east side of the Colusa Scout Cabin.
In addition to lunch, the quilter’s organization will sell raffle tickets for your chance to win a selected quilt on display.
The luncheon is part of the annual Colusa County MAY Surprise that benefits literary, arts, beautification, and community service programs. Activities start at 9:00 am, including a Plant Sale and gardening advice; an Artisan Faire with local artists; Wine Tasting with cheeses and desserts; and the day winds up with an award presentation from the Colusa City Heritage Preservation Committee.
Pacific Flyway Quilt Guild is a non-profit organization, which meets on the third Wednesday each month and provides community a variety of service projects with quilts, dog beds, children’s dresses, totes, and other quilting or sewing projects; and quilting education.
More information about the quilter’s organization will be available during the May Surprise event.
Proceeds from the luncheon and raffle will help with supplies for our community service projects, rent for our meeting place, and fees for guest speakers.
Come join the Pacific Flyway Quilters on, Saturday May 2, 2015, for a fabulous Lunch and Quilts in the Park!
