A 58-year-old Stonyford resident loses control of her vehicle while making a turn onto N. Lakeview Loop east of Stonyford.
According to the California Highway Patrol, on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, Rosa Correa, was driving eastbound at approximately 30 MPH in her 2006 Toyota Tacoma Pickup on Lodoga Stonyford Road.
As Correa approached the intersection, she began to make a right turn onto N. Lakeview Loop and lost control of her vehicle.
Correa slid in a southeast direction across the roadway and struck a wooden telephone pole and a metal street sign post.
Correa sustained minor injuries and was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the collision. The airbags also deployed at the time of the traffic collision.
Correa was not transported to a medical facility.
The California Highway Patrol deteri9mened that the usage of her seat belt might have prevented Correa from sustaining more serious injuries as a result of the traffic collision. <
