The hunt is on for the magic bunnies at the 76th annual Colusa County Fair June 4-7.
New to the Fair this year is the Steelhead Lodge Bar & Grill Magic Bunny Hunt.
This is a free event for kids of all ages and the successful “bunny hunters” will win a prize when they find the locations of 40 magic bunnies hidden on the fairgrounds.
Fair patrons will receive a brochure which includes a map of the fairgrounds. All they need to do is find the location of the hidden bunnies and mark that location on the map.
Once they have found all 40 locations they can take the completed map to the fair office and ex-change for a prize.
“This is a great way for family participation in the fair,” said Colusa County Fair CEO Jonathan Howard.
“We have a lot of new things this year, and the bunny hunt will be a perfect fit,” he said.
The Magic Bunny Hunt is one of the many interactive free family events at the fair this year.
Mind Works, a giant accessible play area promises to be entertainment for the whole family. It will be located in Festival Hall.
Of course all concerts are free. Flo the Clown is back with Kids World and like many of the other entertainers; Jeremy the Juggler, Keith Bear the Native American flutist and Skip Banks the Bal-loon Man will be available for conversation and photo opportunities throughout the fair.<
