IMG_0795 2Health and fitness is the number one priority for Colusa County Strength & Conditioning proprietors Josh and Erica Eisenhut.

When Erica discovered MEAT UP, a Sacramento-based meal service company that provides 100% Paleo meals she jumped on board to offer it to her gym members and the community.

“It is a convenient way to get the appropriate nutrition we needed on our tight schedules,” said Eisenhut.

With a rotating menu, MEAT UP provides its customers with a unique meal delivery service that provides a fresh, healthy solution and delivered to their local gym.

“Our pre-made Paleo meals are created and prepared with fresh, local ingredients, and then frozen for your convenience,” said Genevieve Ross owner of MEAT UP, “people want to make the right choices and eat the right way, but people just don’t have the time – just let us do the grocery shopping for you!”

Ross added that MEAT UP meals are made with grass-fed and finished beef, free-range chicken and pasture-raised pork, and they are always 100% grain, dairy, and gluten free. They are also always 100% Grain, Dairy and Gluten free. No soy, preservatives, processed oils or added sugar.

“The meals are frozen into single serving packs allowing the convenience to heat up and enjoy a delicious, healthy meal,” said Ross.

“If you have a mission to get healthy, sometimes eating the right foods is the way to start,” said Eisenhut, “these are a convenient way to get started on your health goal.”

Customers can pre-order their meals online at by Wednesday, and their meals will be delivered to Colusa County Strength & Conditioning the following Tuesday. Alternatively, single meals can be purchased at Colusa County Strength & Conditioning, Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
