Colusa Preparing for Holiday Craft Faire & Gift Show

Halloween has come and gone and now it is time to prepare for the next round of holidays; Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The tradition of shopping for holiday gifts, treats and decorations will continue this year when the annual Colusa Holiday Craft Faire & Gift Show returns just before Thanksgiving on November 21 and 22, 2015 at the Colusa County Fairgrounds.

Just as it has for several years, Professional Events Services (PES) will host the popular event.

Professional Events Services CEO Carolan Ferreria Meek, a former 44th DAA manager, has kept the show going as a production of PES. For the fourth year running, Meek has successfully run the show and states that she is looking forward to an even bigger and better event than last year’s successful show.

She expects that the Faire will showcase over 100 vendors displaying their holiday wares, crafts, and gifts in three buildings.  “It is a great place to go shopping for those unique items, or for those every year holiday staples for your family entertaining,” said Meek.

Rawling’s Concessions will be serving food in Main Exhibit Hall for vendors and patrons both days of the event.

“Don’t forget, that Santa will be at the show and available for photos,” said Meek. Additionally, the Maxwell High School Band will play each day.

“We are just so excited that so many vendors are returning, and that other community members are taking part in this year’s show,” said Meek.

“Now in its 29th year, Colusa Holiday Craft Faire & Gift Show is an event that everyone looks forward to each year,” she said.  “It’s a part of our county history and tradition. I’m proud to be a part of making it possible to continue,” she added.

Show hours are from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and from 10 AM to 3 PM on Sunday.
