At about 1:00 PM on Monday, November 2, after receiving notice from employees, the owner of the Arbuckle Service Center reported the vehicles missing.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the vehicles were being stored in chain-link fence area at the Arbuckle Mini Storage located behind the service center.
“All of the vehicles had the keys inside of them,” said CHP Officer, Krysten Murphy, “the vehicles were waiting either repair or repairs were completed.”
According to Murphy, three of the vehicles were recovered by the Sacramento Police Department where two males were taken into custody.
Six vehicles remain missing.
Description of the missing vehicles include: 2004 GMC Truck; 2008 Nissan Altima, Black; 1965 Chevy C10, Grey; 2005 Ford F250, White; 1998 Honda Accord, Green; and a 2000 Nissan Frontier, Black.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the manner and asks that if anyone discovers a vehicle out of place or appears to be abandoned to call your local authorities.
