NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED WEEKLY ON THURSDAY

Jennie Maria Green (1963-2015)

OBIT - Jennie Maria Green 1Jennie Maria Green, 51, of Arbuckle, California passed away on February 10, 2015 at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento with her family at her side after battling a recent health condition.

Born August 23, 1963 at Colusa Hospital, to Barbara and Jay Stamps, Jennie was a lifelong Arbuckle resident. She was a former girl scout, and sang in chorus. Although musically talented in voice and several instruments, she never learned how to read sheet music and could play by ear. She graduated from Pierce High School in 1983.

Jennie was a kind-hearted, compassionate and caring woman. She loved her family and cherished her friends more than anything in this world.

Jennie‚Äôs caring nature came naturally; when she was not taking care of her family, she was caring for her friends and others. She always went to great lengths to make sure everyone was well cared for ‚Äď often putting the needs of others before her own.

In 1986, Jennie married her best friend and soul mate, Lloyd Green Sr. of Williams. Soon after marriage, they started a family. She fulfilled her dream to be a loving wife, homemaker, and devoted mother.

When Jennie was not taking care of her family or friends, she enjoyed taking trips to Fort Bragg – often calling it her second home. She also loved crafting, knitting and crocheting, cooking, and working in the garden.

Jennie touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Jennie is survived by her husband Lloyd Green Sr. of Arbuckle; her son Lloyd Green Jr. of Williams; her brothers, Jay Stamps Jr. of Arbuckle, and Michael Stamps of Williams; her Grandfather, Robert Curtis of Fort Bragg; a nephew, Andrew Stamps, of Marysville; and a niece, McKenna Stamps of Williams.

She is preceded in death by her son Travis Green; parents, Barbara Stamps and Jay Stamps Sr.; and brother, James Stamps.
