Embarking on the town’s pride and military heritage, the 86th Annual Maxwell High School Junior Free Rodeo will be held on May 21, 2016, which is also Armistice Day.
The longest running community event in the county includes a rodeo, car show, parade, bull run, frog derby, vendors and much more!
This year the Maxwell Parks and Recreation District will host the Dinner and Dance. Serving tacos, rice and beans starting at 7:00 PM. Then at 9:00 PM guests will dance with a performance by FBR Band. All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Maxwell Community Pool Project.
Gloria Arnett has been selected as the 2016 Maxwell High School Rodeo Grand Marshall.
This year’s event is still in the planning process; however, applications for the parade and the car show are being accepted.
