All three supervisor districts to vie in November primary

Colusa County Election Officials wrapped up the final results Friday for the 2016 General Election. As a full hand count was completed, officials determined that all three local supervisor districts will run in the November Primary Election.

Colusa County Supervisor District 2, a total 1000 votes were cast – leaving Incumbent John Loudon and Robert Moriconi to vie for the seat in the November Primary. The General Election results indicated that incumbent John Loudon received 463 votes (48.33%), and Robert Moriconi received 340 votes (35.49%). Terry Bressler received 152 of those votes (15.87%). There were three write in votes, and 42 under votes.

Colusa County Supervisor District 3, a total 739 votes were cast – leaving Incumbent Mark Marshall and Kent Boes to vie for the seat in the November Primary. The General Election results indicated that incumbent Mark Marshall received 349 votes (48.61%), and Kent Boes received 227 votes (31.62%). Angela Plachek-Fulcher received 138 votes (19.22%). There were four write in votes, and 21 under votes.

Colusa County Supervisor District 4, a total 773 votes were cast – leaving Incumbent Gary Evans and Susan Meeker to vie for the seat in the November Primary. The General Election results indicated that incumbent Gary Evans received 329 votes (45.01%), and Susan Meeter receiving 271 votes (37.07%). Ed Lazarus received 129 (17.65%). There were two write in votes and 42 under votes.
