The Colusa County Chamber of Commerce held its monthly “Lunch Mob” at Round Table Pizza in Colusa last Thursday.
“We took a little break last month and it was great to see so many people returning,” said Colusa County Chamber of Commerce Board President Donna Phelan.
The Lunch Mob was held just after the lunch hour and provided an opportunity for local businesses to network and make announcements on upcoming activities.
Some of those events include the Family Water Alliance’s 21st annual “Hot Cajun Night” dinner, auction, and raffle on Saturday, Nov. 19, at St. Bernadette’s Hall in Colusa; the upcoming comedy show with Jim Breuer at the Colusa Casino Resort on Oct. 7; as well as the upcoming Intero Real Estate Brigata & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Yuba Sutter Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Oct. 13.
Barbara Forkey of Brandman University of Yuba City commented that the Colusa County Chamber of Commerce has a scholarship available through Brandman University and she can be contacted at (530) 674-2758.
A representative from Comfort Keepers commented that they are looking for qualified assistants and can be reached by calling (530) 749-8800. Phelan closed the event with a note thanking everyone for coming and commented that the October Lunch Mob was in the works. ■
