iPad Classes to be offered at Colusa Branch Library

Due to generous grant funding by the Dollar General Adult Literacy Foundation, the Colusa County Free Library Literacy Program will be hosting FREE iPad classes starting in October.

“We will focus on Digital Literacy applications through the month of December at the Colusa Branch Library,” said Colusa County Librarian Stacey Zwald Costello. “The content taught will be literacy-related, and each class will last between one and two hours (10am-12pm) on the dates of instruction.”

The schedule for October is as follows: Oct. 7 — Vocabulary & Grammar; Oct. 14 — Reading Comprehension & Spelling; Oct. 21 — Writing & Math.

“There will be five iPads available for use, and slots will be filled on a first come first served basis,” said Costello. The applications used will be suitable for all ages.

Depending on the interest, Costello added the library plans to expand the classes to include the use of the iPads while in the library.

To reserve your seat contact the Colusa County Library at (530) 458-0373 or visit the Libraries Facebook Page for all class offerings.
