A Colusa holiday shopping emporium is celebrating its 30th anniversary; an anniversary to amaze the masses and spread a little holiday cheer.
āItās going to be amazing,ā said Jonathan Howard, Colusa County Fair CEO as he prepares for the 30th annual Colusa Holiday Faire and Craft Show held Saturday, Nov.19, and Sunday, Nov. 20.
āThis is our 30th year to host this event at the Colusa County Fairgrounds, and we want it to be an extra special celebration,ā said Howard. āI promise our patrons will see a few surprises at this yearās Faire.ā
While vendor spaces are filling up quickly, Howard commented his staff is working on new ideas, new decor, and even building a new throne for Santa.
āWe hear Santa is bringing one of his elves this year,ā said Howard.
With well over 100 vendors, the event is an emporium of holiday shopping.
āFor many, this is the start of their holiday shopping,ā said Howard. āPeople come from all around the north state.ā
The event will showcase vendors offering holiday wares, crafts, and gifts.
āItās a great place to go shopping for unique or handmade items, or for those yearly holiday essentials for your family entertainment,ā said Howard.
As vendor spaces fill up with new vendors, Howard commented many old favorites are returning.
āWe welcome new vendors this year, but we also have longstanding vendors returning. Some of our vendors have been selling at the Holiday and Craft Faire for 30 years,ā said Howard.
