Arts Council continues community art classes

The Colusa County Arts Council completed its third community arts class featuring wine bottle art.

In the class, instructor Sheryl Goodman provided a variety of wine bottles to be cut using the fire string method or with a traditional glass cutter.

‚ÄúIt was a lot of fun,‚ÄĚ Patti Arnold a participant of the class. ‚ÄúIt was different, but fun.‚ÄĚ

Once the bottles were cut, participants decorated both halves of the bottle to create a candle and a hurricane for tea lights.

The arts council will feature faux stained glass art class at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, Dec. 14. at the arts council workroom, 430 Market St., Suite C.

The cost is $35 for non-members, $30 for members. RSVP call (530) 458-2222. ‚Ė†
