Santa to make several stops in Colusa County

Santa Claus is expected to have a packed schedule over the next four weeks as he tours the world to visit with children, pose for photographs, and take final gift requests. As usual, several stops will be within the Colusa County area to the absolute delight of our county’s youngest residents.


Making his way through each community, Santa Claus will be checking his list and adding a little extra holiday cheer for the children. This Sunday, Dec. 11, at 4 PM, Santa Claus will visit the community of Arbuckle, escorted by the Arbuckle Volunteer Fire Department. He’ll begin at the Salt Creek and Peerless Ave. neighborhood. At 5:15 PM, he’ll pay a visit to the Alexander Apartments, and then to the Cross Creek Apartments. At 5:45 PM, he will visit Honey Grove on Dolbow Ln. and William St.. Making his way through town, he will visit the children along Tactius St. and Hall St. around 6:10 PM. At 6:30 PM, Santa will visit Hall and 1st Streets then make his way to West 8th St., and Kleeman St at 6:45 PM. He’ll conclude his visit to Arbuckle around 7 PM with a visit to Allison Way.


On Monday, Dec. 12, Santa Claus will begin his journey through the neighborhoods of Colusa starting at Country Club, Walnut Ranch, and the Indian Oaks neighborhoods. On Tuesday, Dec. 13, he will be in the 3rd St. and Westcott Road neighborhoods and the area apartment complexes. On Wednesday, Dec. 14, Santa will visit the Sioc and Parkhill area from 1st Street through 14th Street. Then on Thursday, Dec. 15, Santa will visit the Clay and Main Street area from 1st Street through 14th Streets.


On Saturday, Dec. 17, Santa will be in Maxwell during their community holiday event starting at 6 PM.


Making a last minute visit, Santa Claus will join the Williams Fire Department at 3:00 PM on Saturday, Dec. 24, for last minute Christmas wishes. Santa will be at the Williams Fire Hall, 810 E St.

Missed Santa? No problem! The Colusa Lions Club will have a direct line to Santa Claus on Thursday, Dec. 15, and Friday, Dec. 16, from 6 PM to 8:30 PM. To speak with Santa, call (530) 458-XMAS (9627).
