Gobel receives Cowbelle of the year

alycen-gobel-selected-at-gccw-cowbelle-of-the-yearAlycen Gobel has been named the 2016 Cowbelle of the year by the Glenn-Colusa Cattlewomen (GCCW).

The annual award is bestowed on a member for outstanding service to the organization and chosen by nomination.

“Alycen has done excellent work in promoting and chairing our Rib Cook-off this year,” said Sherry Maltby, a GCCW member.

Gobel was awarded the honor during the September GCCW meeting.

Maltby commented that Gobel, along with other Cowbelles nominated in the state, was honored at a special luncheon in Sparks Nevada during the California CattleWomen’s Annual Convention.
