OBIT - Gary FouchGary “Butch” Fouch, 75, of Townsend, MT, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula, MT.

Born April 22, 1940, in Clearlake Oaks, CA to Charles and Dorothy Fouch, Gary was raised in Williams, CA and graduated from Williams High School in 1958. He was an active member of the FFA and played football. After high school graduation, Gary farmed with his father and later relocated to the state of Wyoming in 1968. Gary also served as a Volunteer Firefighter for the Williams Fire Department.

Gary married Diane Nason on July 16, 1961, where they raised two sons, Michael and Douglas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his wife and family.

In 1990, He and his wife moved to Victor, MT, where they resided for 25 years; in recent months, they relocated to Townsend, MT to be closer to their sons and their families.

Gary is survived by his wife of 54 years, Diane; his sons, Michael (Linda) Fouch, and Douglas (Helen) Fouch; grandchildren Lou, Wesley, Jessica, Anita, Brandon, and Matthew; and three great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Bonnie (Stan) Jensen of Salmon ID, and a brother, Chuck (Maria) Fouch of Fort Stockton, TX; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held in the spring in Victor, MT. Burial will follow at a later date at the Williams Cemetery, in Williams CA.

At the recommendation of the family, donations can be made to the Victor Fire Dept. or a charity of choice.■
