Hans George Tauscher (87), passed away June 18th,2016, in Coosbay Oregon, surrounded by love and family.
Hans was born February 2nd 1929 in Delevan California to Joseph and Theresa Tauscher. He was one of seven children. He grew up working on the family dairy and graduated from Maxwell High school. Following graduation he served his country during the Korean War, where he learned many skills which he incorporated into his farming operations upon his return. Hans could fix anything and had the patience of a Saint. Hans farmed for many years where he grew up, until he ventured to Oregon where he purchased an alfalfa ranch in Klamath Falls. After a few years of developing that ranch he decided to go west to retire along the coast of Oregon. Hans always had to be busy, so while he was having their “retirement” house built, he went on to help an “older” gentlemen work his cattle, doing chores around the ranch, much the same as he did growing up. That kept him busy for a couple of years until he and his wife pulled up stakes again and moved to Coosbay, where he resided for the rest of his life. Hans made many friends along the way and was well liked and respected in the circle of people who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed.
Hans is survived by his wife of 48 years Evelyn Tauscher, son Joe Tauscher (Jodi) of Colusa Ca., and daughters LaVern Rudow (Robert) of Maxwell Ca., and Linda Knight (George) of Sacramento Ca. He is also survived by sisters Hedi LaGrande of Williams Ca. and Josephine Enos of Visalia Ca. as well as many nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
