Juanita Roberts, 90 of Colusa, transitioned on July 9, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 9, 1926, in Carthage, Arkansas. Juanita arrived in Colusa, in 1946, bringing a beacon of light for the next 70 years.
Her greatest love was as a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph, her children Danny and Juanita, her first cousin Katherine, her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jermaine, Juanita (Dollee), Chase, Ricky, Leigh, Courtney, (C.J.), numerous others, and four great grandchildren.

Juanita’s Celebration of life, will be hosted at the A.B. Davison Park located on 10th St. between Webster and Parkhill after the burial. Please bring a side dish to share. Family will provide the meat.
Juanita spent many days gardening, people watching, sharing stories, and spreading love. However, Juanita dedicated most of her time at school functions. She was highly involved in Friends of Music and took tickets for every sport imaginable. Whereas flowers are greatly appreciated, Juanita would love if all of us gave our time and money back to the kids. If you find it in your heart please feel free to donate to the Redhawk Foundation.
