Sheriff Max Mayfield reported to the Board of Supervisors, that the 35 prisoners earned $19,718 under the work-furlough program for the period of Jan 1st to Dec. 31st in 1965.

Several Arbuckle farmers who have been raising turkeys during the past few years say they are loosing money. Most who raised between 500 and 1500 birds last year do not intend to raised them again this spring.

The Pioneer Auto Stage is no making regular trips between Colusa and Williams and the fare has been reduced to 50¢. Jack Dunfield, Prop.

Farm for Sale. A farm on Sycamore Slough, eight miles from Colusa, between he farms of R.W. Moore and P. Wallace, containing 160 acres under good fence, 60 acres now in grain, is offered for sale cheap.
