Arts Council to host Coloring Day for Pumpkin Village contest

Would you like to enter the coloring contest? Need a little help with supplies, or inspiration? The Colusa County Arts Council, 151 5th Street in Colusa, will be opening their doors 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 7 to help with young inspiring artists.

“The Colusa County Arts Council will have all kinds of art supplies available for children to come color their ‘Pumpkin Village Coloring Contest’ entry,” said Colusa County Fair CEO Jonathan Howard.

Open to children ages 4 to 12, the coloring contest will be judged solely on creativity within three age groups, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12.

The ‘Spookly the Square Pumpkin,’ coloring pages can be downloaded from the fairground’s website or can be picked up at the Colusa County Arts Council, 151 5th Street in Colusa.

Children attending the coloring day must be accompanied by an adult.

All entries must be received by the Colusa County Fair Office, 1303 10th Street, Colusa, in person or by mail, no later than 5 PM on Friday, Oct. 13. There is no cost to enter.
