On Saturday, Sept. 23, the Arbuckle Golf Club hosted a Hunters Education class instructed by Pete Magenti of the Alpha Gamma Rho Alumni. With 17 young hunters in attendance, all received passing marks. The students received instruction on hunting regulations, firearm safety, outdoor survival techniques, and about the importance of conservation of valuable resources.

The next Traditional Hunter Education class hosted by the California Department Fish & Game and instructed by Michael Russow will be held at the Colusa VFW Hall at 6 PM on Friday, Oct. 20 and continuing at 8AM on Saturday, Oct. 21.
