Home Obituaries David James Miller (1949-2017)

David James Miller (1949-2017)

David James Miller was born November 23, 1949 in Colusa California. He passed away with family at his side on January 14th, 2017 in Woodland, CA. He is survived by his mother Heraldine Miller, a brother Phillip, two sons Shawn (Sherri), Kerry (Gina), two nephews Joshua and Jarrod, and a niece Casey; Four grandchildren Alexz, Madison, Ian and Kearsten and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Miller. David loved his family and was very proud of his sons.

David was a small business owner in the community for over 40 years; owning and operating two service stations and after selling out, he purchased a pest control business. He was very honest, hardworking & would give you the shirt off his back. He also loved fishing and camping & was a regular at the nearby lakes/rivers until he became too ill to do so. His battle over the past 10 years with various sicknesses kept him closer to home. David’s faith in Jesus grew and became stronger through all of the sufferings and his hope kept him full of joy in the midst of his pain. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services were held Friday, Jan. 20, 2017 at the Williams Cemetery.
