The Colusa County Board of Supervisors is accepting project proposals for funding under the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000, Title III.

Projects must be within one of the following eligible use categories:

  • Carry out activities under the Firewise Communities Program;
  • Reimbursement to the County for the cost of search and rescue and other emergency services on Federal lands, including firefighting and law enforcement patrols;
  • Training costs and equipment purchases directly related to the emergency service described in category 2; and
  • Develop and carry out Community Wildfire Protection Plans.

Proposals must be delivered to the Colusa County Board of Supervisors Office, 547 Market St., Suite 102 Colusa, California 95932, no later than 5:00 p.m. September 4, 2018. Proposals will be considered by the Board of Supervisors on September 18, 2018 at their regularly scheduled meeting.
